A customer phoned to ask if I could help her out as she had just moved into a property in Upper Bucklebury, during the move she had lost the key to a cabinet. (photo) On attending she mentioned that I had been recommended by a number of people that she knew, which was very nice, ( a bit of pressure though). I managed to open it by impressioning the lock, this is a process where you take a “blank”, cut it to size and then get markings on it by using a bit of pressure. If you exert too much pressure you can snap the blank off in the lock, can be a problem! Anyway photo’s show the story, not a bad looking key at the end, but would have preferred to have some worked brass blanks to start.
